Opportunity to Join our Friendly Professional Team!

We are looking for a Pharmacy Technician and a Receptionist to join us, Welsh speaking and previous experience would be beneficial but full training provided and full or part time, flexible hours considered.

Nurse Practitioners

Sister Anna Ruijterman

Anna joined our practice in June 2016. Anna is able to see a lot of conditions that would normally be seen by a GP. She is able to diagnose, prescribe medications, make referrals if needed and follow up patients in the same way a GP does.  

Nurses

Sister Lilyma Thapa

Lilyma specialises in the care of patients with high blood pressure and heart disease or strokes and she provides the travel clinic service.  Lilyma also provides general nursing services which include basic contraceptive, cervical smears and swabs, vaccinations, complicated dressings and management of wounds.  Lilyma also has an interest in helping patients with mental health problems. Since Summer 2017 Lilyma has started seeing some patients with minor illnesses which is a huge help for GPs.

Sister Janice Davies

Janice is developing a speciality in Asthma and COPD.  She provides general nursing services which include basic contraceptive services, cervical smears, swabs, vaccinations, complicated dressings and management of wounds.

Sister Catherine McGonigle

Catherine has joined us as a practice nurse from November 2016.   She provides general nursing services which include basic contraceptive services, vaccinations, complicated dressings and management of wounds.  Since Summer 2017 Catherine has started seeing some patients with minor illnesses which is a huge help for GPs.

Nurse Diana Gordon (f)

Diane joined us in 2018.   She provides general nursing services which include basic contraceptive services, cervical smears, swabs, injections, complicated dressings and management of wounds.

Healthcare Assistants

Ms Helen Haywood

Helen qualified as a Health Care Assistant in October 2016.   She is starting to specialise in looking after patients who have diabetes along with our Nurse Practitioner.   Helen also provides lifestyle advice, checks blood pressure, and does phelbotomy (takes blood), ECGs and simple dressings. 

Mel Goffin has started training to become a Health care assistant 2019.
